Computer Controlled Spring Making Machine AX-20A You can customize AX as you wish with numerous optional accessories. AX has 8 sets of Slide Base which can be located at any angle around the circular forming table in order to gain maximum forming capability. The machine is equipped with Feed, Cam and Rotary Wire Guide axes as standard. 3 optional Servo Spinner Units and 2 optional Servo Linear Units can be easily added to make the AX an 8 axes machine. Note: The above is with optional accessories. Cam Shaft and Slide Base Eight cam shaft drive the forming slide whith can be located at any angle around the circular forming table. (patent pending) 8 sets of Cam Shaft and Slide Base are standard equipment. Cam for AX is exclusive. Single Cam and Twin Cam are available. The slide layout can be changed simply by altering the mounting position on the slide base for tool holders and servo drive unit. (Cut holder, Tool holder A and B, U Attachment holder (1pc. of each) are equipped as standard.) AX-20: Maximum slide stroke is 67mm. This AX-20 machine provides wide space around the wire guide enhancing forming capability. Rotary Wire Guide Rotary Wire Guide is equipped as standard. Forming capability is enhanced substantially by Rotary Wire Guide in comparison will Quill. Rotary Wire Guide has higher rigdity than Quill. Separation of Rotary Wire Guide into two parts prevents jamming of wire and provides access to the easy maintenance. AX-20: Wire Guide is common to that used on the MX-20 and the distance between the surface of circular table and top of Rotary Wire Guide is 90mm. this means easy forming for long leg springs. Servo Unit Servo Spinner Unit and Servo Linear Unit are available as optional equipment for complex operations. Double Action Mechanism Retractable Lever and Twin Cam are available for high-speed production. (1 set of Retractable Lever and Twin Cam for Cut axis are equipped as standard.) Computer Computer unit is separated from the machine body. AX's computer adopted the latest Pentium Processor and Linux Operating System. The computer display is TFT color liquid crystal display. A mouse and keyboard are supplied as standard accessory of computer. The computer mouse assists you in making and editing programs. 3.5 inch floppy disk drive is equipped as standard memory device. The program is saved simultaneously as back-up data in the computer when it is saved on 3.5 inch floppy disk.
