Computer Controlled Coiling Machine The PCX --- the best machine for the compression springs --- takes another step forward. Coiling Point Controlling Unit and Arbor Retraction mechanism are newly optimized for high speed production. The PCX-20A�fs computer adopts the latest Pentium Processor and Linux Operating System and this computer unit is separated from the machine body. PCX-20A Coiling Point Controlling Section: Upper and lower coiling pins are controlled by 4 sets of servo motors and each of them can be independently controlled in X - Y direction. The PCX-20A can change the coiling setup instantly from right hand coiling to left hand coiling, 1 point pin to 2 point pin by changing the program. Fine adjustment of coiling point�fs position can be done by program. Center Base Section: Since cut slide, arbor, wedge pitch slide are equipped on the center base being controlled by servo motor up and down, it is not necessary to change the position of arbor and cut tool even if the spring diameter is changed. Rotary Cut Slide Section & Wedge Pitch Slide Section: Since front edge of cut tool will travel in semi elliptic movement so that long life of cut tool is obtained and bur problem occurred at cutting time will be resolved. The bases of Rotary Cut Slide and Wedge Pitch Slide are common each other. The changeover from R.H. Coiling from L.H. Coiling is very easy by simply changing cut tool and cut tool holder. Vertical cutting off as usual can be also available. Computer Section: Computer unit is separated from the machine body. AX's computer adopted the latest Pentium Processor and Linux Operating System. The computer display is TFT color liquid crystal display. A mouse and keyboard are supplied as standard accessory of computer. The computer mouse assists you in making and editing programs. Both USB flash memory and 3.5 inch floppy disk can be used as standard memory devices. Back-up of the program is saved simultaneously onto the HDD of the computer when it is saved on memory devices. Others: The PCX-20A is also equipped with PC coiler features such as free length control, outside diameter control by static capacitor sensor and program generator, etc. The Image sensor (optional) feature can be equipped on the latest computer.
